Presenting the collaborator programme

We aim high, that the Halden International Music Film Festival will become an annual “Perfect Storm”, a combination of music films, round tables, panels, workshops, and networking events.

To achieve this, we have created our Collaborator Program, where we engage with some of the top talents within the genres of film and film music. As part of this program, we will provide you with exclusive interviews and perspective from these talents which you will find both informative and entertaining.

We now are pleased to announce the support of two talented individuals who are supporting the Halden IMFF both short and long term:

Thomas Robsahm

Producer, director, actor, musician, the multi-talented Robsahm recently received a BAFTA Film Award nomination for “The Worst Person in the World”, shared with Joachim Trier. Another one of Thomas’s film creations was the music film documentary a-ha - The Movie, covering the band's entire career and follows the band over a period of three years.

Øystein Karlsen

This home grown Halden talent is an acclaimed screenwriter and director, known for creating the hit TV series Dagand Exit. The latter was written and directed by Karlsen which won two Gullruten (Norwegian Emmy) awards out of a total of eight nominations. The next season, the series won one award out of total of seven nominations.
