New Elton John documentary now in production

Elton John's husband, David Furnish, is one of the producers behind the documentary with the sensational title "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John performances and the years that made his legend".

The film is directed by R.J. Cutler ("Belushi", Billie Eilish: The World's a little blurry") and will include concert recordings of Elton John's last concert in the United States, which will take place at the Los Angeles Dodger Stadium in November.

The film will otherwise focus on the first five years of John's solo career in the early 1970s, when he released a total of ten albums. Several of which went to the top of the sales lists.

In 2019, the biographical feature film "Rocket Man" was successful in cinemas, starring Taron Egerton.

The upcoming documentary is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ during 2023.
